OMAFRA partnered with the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies to deliver the strategic planning ‘Train-the-Trainer’ project in 2014.
- Increase the organizational effectiveness & economic impact of organizations
- Build a supporting network of volunteers/leaders
- Provide opportunities for current and emerging leaders
- Build ownership and commitment of the strategic planning process within the organization
An evaluation for the 50 volunteers who participated shows a significant increase in their leadership skills, knowledge and confidence with developing a strategic plan.
