Overview webinar on the Place to Grow: Agri-food Innovation Initiative 

OMAFRA staff will be conducting two public webinars to provide an overview of the Initiative, and the process for applying to the program.

What is the Place to Grow: Agri-food Innovation Initiative?

The Place to Grow: Agri-Food Innovation Initiative provides cost-share funding  to agriculture and food-value chain partners, which encourages greater collaboration to identify opportunities and address challenges in the sector.  This initiative is comprised of ‘Funding for Sectors’ and ‘Strategic Solutions’, will support agriculture and food value-chain partners in address emerging sector challenges and opportunities to create sector wide benefits.

The Place to Grow: Agri-food Innovation Initiative is part of the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (CAP) is a five-year, $3-billion commitment by Canada’s federal, provincial and territorial governments that supports Canada’s agri-food and agri-product sectors.
