Analyst Economic analysis training

Join the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Northern Development for Analyst Economic analysis training. Develop your expertise in locating municipal and regional economic data to drive positive results! In this workshop you will use Analyst software to identify your region’s top and emerging industries and in-demand occupations. 

During this two-hour session you will engage in interactive hands-on classroom style training. The topics that will be covered include: 

• Getting started with regional economic analysis 
• Understanding the role of data and where to find up-to-date data for driving economic development decision-making 
• Exploring economic development and workforce information available in Analyst 
• Generating an economic profile of your municipality or region 
• Conducting labour market analysis including in-demand occupations

This workshop requires that you bring a laptop computer to log in to an online Lightcast Analyst software application.
