Join a series of four webinars starting Tuesday, November 19th 2024, on Ontario’s Downtown Revitalization (DR) program and how to coordinate a DR project in your rural community.  

These free interactive training sessions will provide participants with the knowledge and tools required to successfully undertake a downtown revitalization project in their community! 

Based on Ontario’s Downtown Revitalization Coordinator’s Manual, the program provides a four-stage framework to assist with improving the economic, physical and social well-being of a community’s traditional town centre.

  • Downtown revitalization coordinators 
  • Economic development professionals 
  • Business Improvement Area (BIA) organizations 
  • Municipal staff 
  • Volunteers on downtown revitalization committees

Stage I – Preparation 
November 26th, 2024  Stage II – Collect and Analyze 
December 3rd, 2024  Stage III – Develop Goals and Action Plans 
December 10th, 2024  Stage IV – Implement and Monitor
