Take the Exploring Value Added Opportunities (EVAO) course to help you increase your profits through the creation of new products and services or value-added opportunities at your farm or food business. Our course can help you:
- Generate new ideas for value-added products and services;
- Assess your idea’s business potential;
- Identify and manage potential risks; and,
- Determine and plan what it takes to turn your idea into reality.
This one day workshop is being held in conjunction between the Township of Brock Economic Development Advisory Committee, OMAFRA, the Brock Board of Trade (BBOT), and the Region of Durham Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Economic Development Department.
Participants will learn how to generate ideas for value-added opportunities, assess an idea’s business potential, identify and manage risk and develop a plan to execute their idea.
